C2C Easter Egg cushion
This is a tutorial which describes the steps needed to make a cheerful Easter cushion using the Corner to Corner stitch. There is a chart to show the striped Easter egg design that I used, and photos to demonstrate how to construct your cushion cover.
The cover is for a 30 x 30 cm cushion pad.
Gauge: Using a 4mm hook and DK weight yarn, 7 x 7 blocks of the C2C stitch = 4 inches / 10cm
I used a combination of Stylecraft Special DK and Paintbox Simply DK yarn. There are details about the shades I used included in the blog post.
I used less than x1 100g ball of the main colour (white) yarn and small amounts of each of the contrast colours. A good stash busting project!
You will also need x 4 buttons for fastening.
