The C2C Block Rocking Poncho
Corner to Corner is such a fun versatile crochet stitch pattern to work. Those little square blocks have so much potential! Though c2c is more commonly used for home wears, I decided to try it as a wearable and the Block Rocking Poncho is the result!
Please note that this is also available as a free pattern on my blog https://doradoes.co.uk/portfolio - here you are purchasing the add free printable PDF.
Skill Level
This is an easy and quick pattern, perfect for beginners or those looking with more experience looking for a simple project. It uses chains, US double crochet for the majority of the pattern with Single, Half double and Double being used for the neckline
Materials
The pattern can be worked with any yarn and hook but try it with aa graduated or ombre yarn for that extra something. Work with a slightly larger hook for your yarn weight to create a beautiful drape on the garment.
The Item pictured uses a Infinity Hearts Azalea (which is a sport weight yarn) and a 4.5mm hook
Sizing
The size of the pictured item is 46in on the diagonal but because you can work it in any yarn you want, you can go as big or small as you like! Just keep working until it reaches the size you want then add in the neck line and decrease to the end!
Perfect to wear over the autumn and winter months, or work in a lighter yarn with a big hook for a lacier version for the warmer months - regardless of the season, get rocking those blocks!
Happy Hooking!
