Butterfly Raglan Sweater #55
A bottom-up raglan with butterfly pattern yoke (optionally beaded) and a henley placket neck opening, buttoned, and edged with I-cord. Body and sleeves are worked bottom-up, circularly, joined for the yoke.
The pattern has been revised (10March2014) and is now available on Ravelry. Changes include an increased range of sizes, and a convenient row-by-row table showing raglan decrease points, placket start, buttonholes, and pattern rows. The butterfly yoke pattern is both charted and written.
Familiarity with raglan construction is assumed.
Notions: Buttons 1/2” diameter, 6 for the smaller sizes, 7 for the larger; optional beading (crochet hook method).
Many thanks to testers GJRZA and sondomn; the pattern is much improved and the process of interacting was very enjoyable.
