Original instructions call for rayon thread and “Hornstricknadeln Nr. 2-1/2” for a finished doily 28 cm square.

Cast on 8 stitches and repeat the chart 4 times per round.

Note: There are two designers listed for Beyer Band 711: Herbert Niebling and Marianne Vitt. Please see this forum post for an explanation of why Marianne Vitt is the presumed designer of this pattern.
