Burkhart
Burkhart is a cropped shawl neck cardigan with flared sleeves
and a slight 70’s vibe. The textured rib and body stitches are easy to master and the simple body shaping makes this a great project to work while relaxing with a podcast or movie. This is a great project for a first sweater. Each piece is worked individually. The body is worked top down and sleeves are knit in the round, avoiding lengthy under arm seams. Everything is seamed together after blocking
As soon as I saw this gorgeous yellow yarn from Green Mountain Spinnery I had to have it! I was immediately drawn to the color from afar, and continued to fall for it upon seeing the subtle shifts of hue from the blend of wool and cotton up close. The subtle color shifts and neps I knew this DK weight blend would be perfect for an early fall/spring transitional piece to keep around the office.
