The Burgeon Cowl begins and ends with an I-cord. The lace pattern blooms, or burgeons, as the cowl is worked with a series of progressively larger needle sizes. The stitch count is consistent throughout, but the circumference grows from the neckline to the hem. The lace pattern is easily memorized and is also easy on your brain after a repeat or two. The result is an attractive and easy-to-wear cowl that you will love!
