BunBun ✨

One October day, I ordered a new-to-me yarn for a completely different project… but the moment it arrived, everything changed. As I unwrapped the parcel, my son grabbed the creamy bouclé skein and smooshed it against his face—and in that instant, I knew this yarn had a new destiny.

After a little negotiation, it went straight onto my needles. In less than 3 hours, using only half a skein and my tiny bunny patch design as a template, BunBun came to life—stuffed with local wool and wrapped for my son’s second birthday. My handmade (and rustic) momma heart just about burst.

It takes almost no time to make and would be the sweetest little handmade gift to tuck under the Yule/Christmas tree.
If you’d like to make your own, you can now find BunBun on my Ravelry store or on my website (I’ve also started a new blog over there!). And don’t forget to use the code BUNBUN for 10% off—valid through December 5th 2025, midnight Paris time.
