Finished bust circumference 39.5 (43.5, 47.5, 51.5)
Pick size to allow for 4-6 inches of ease
Yardage required: 790 (840, 925, 1005)
This pattern is so simple, but the idea behind it is really innovative: short row shaping on the front provides extra room to accommodate a growing bump. The ribbon ties are decorative but also practical-let them out as needed. Change the yarn and ribbon color as you like!
Finished Size: The sizes can change as the pregnancy grows. Length 21 1/4 (54 cm) to 24 1/4″ (38.5 cm). To fit bust circumference 33 ½-35 ½” (85-90 cm) to 45 ½-47 ½” (115.5-120.5 cm).
Yarn: Blue Sky Alpaccas Organic Cotton (100% organic cotton).
Yarn Weight: 150 yd 137 m/100 g]: #80 bone, 6 (6, 7, 7) balls.
Needles: 8 (5 mm): straight.
Notions: Tapestry needle; two ½” (1.25-cm) wide pieces of ribbon, each 48″ (1.25-cm) long.
Gauge: 16 sts and 22 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st.
