Bucketful of Sunshine hat
A great sunhat for toddlers that is light, bright and breezy.
The hat is made using the V-Stitch and Half V-Stitch (the pattern contains a photo tutorial of the V-Stitch) and has a cute little brim that offers just the right about out of sun protection.
At this stage the hat is only in a size to fit a toddler, but more sizes will be coming soon!
Gauge isn’t so important, for a larger toddler, use half a hook size larger. The pattern calls for a 5mm hook and you will also need a tapestry needle to weave in the ends.
You will need three skeins of Scheepjeswol Cotton 8 in three shades of the same colour. If you have a cake winder, it will be handy to cake the yarn and pull from both ends as you need to work with two strands together. If you decide to use a single colour, one skein of Scheepjes will be enough.
If you can’t get your hands on the Scheepjeswol Cotton 8, you can substitute with the Phildar Coton 3 or another fingering weight cotton yarn
