The Bubble Gum blanket combines lace and cables resulting on an interesting and beautiful pattern. Because the pattern comes in many sizes and is worked in worsted weight yarn, it grows fast making it a perfect option for gift knitting.

This pattern is highly adaptable to other yarn weights.

NEEDLES
5.50 mm (US 9) circular needle with cable long enough to accommodate all stitches comfortably, or size needed to obtain gauge

Worsted weight baby yarn (sample features Cisne Premium, colorway Pink 3023 , size stroller)

Security - 35 cm (14 in) x 45 cm (18 in) ~130 m (150 yds)
Stroller - 75 cm (30 in) x 90 cm (35 in) ~570 m (620 yds)
Receiving - 100 cm (40 in) x 100 cm (40 in) ~830 m (910 yds)
Toddler - 115 cm (45 in) x 125 cm (50 in) ~1220 m (1330 yds)
Crib - 100 cm (40 in) x 140 cm (55 in) ~1800 m (2000 yds)

GAUGE
14 st x 28 rows in 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) in garter stitch after blocking. Though gauge is not crucial for this project, changes in it will affect your yardage requirements.
