Brioche Cardigan
by Fiona Morris
Brioche stitch creates a wonderful, soft, squishy fabric. I was looking through one of my pattern library books and found this brioche stitch and cable pattern and wanted to do something with it.
Knitting the pattern in 2 strands of a kid/mohair and silk yarn makes a wonderfully light but warm fabric which makes a great jacket for Autumn or Spring.
As the pattern need some concentration to work I kept the garment shape simple with a square set-in sleeve shape.
I have re-named the pattern Bryony’s Jacket
