BriLicious
This cozy cowl is made in the fluffy brioche stitch, a slipped-stitch technique that adds texture and depth to fabric. I like to teach my students to learn brioche by working two colors, in the round, as I think that’s the easiest way to learn this type of knitting.
Many of them work this pattern as their first foray into brioche. If this is yours, I hope you enjoy your brioche adventures!
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Techniques: Brioche Knit (BRK), Brioche Purl (BRP)
Pattern includes video tutorials
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn, 200 yards in each of two highly contrasting colors. (400 yards total)
The sample was knit in Malabrigo Yarn Rios, in Azules and Apple Green.
