Sometimes you just want a simple, go with everything scarf. Breza Scarf fits that bill perfectly! When looking for a summer project that doesn’t require a lot of thinking - simple scarves are great. Plus, they don’t take long to complete.

Breza Scarf features a traditional lace border outlining a modern, easy to wear crescent shape. The scarf is knit from the outer to top edge, using a circular needle to accommodate the number of stitches.

Project sizing & materials:

  • Finished size: One size ~ 64 inches wide (tip to tip) x 13 1/2 inches deep at center
  • Yarn: Brooks Farm Yarns ACERO (fingering weight; 60% superwash wool, 20% silk, 20% viscose; 420 yds/4 oz per skein) ~ 1 skein
  • US 7 (4.5mm) 32-inch circular needle, or size to obtain gauge

The instructions are written and include a chart for the border pattern. The crescent shape is formed using a very simple short row technique - no Wrap & Turn, no Japanese Short Rows, no German Short Rows - just simple decreases.
