Braided Vines Afghan
by Gayle Bunn
“Oversized cables exchange color placement in this warm and hefty afghan.”
Finished Measurements:
Approx 45 x 56 inches
Skill Level:
Intermediate
Materials:
Approx 832 yards of MC and 832 yards of CC
Cable needle
Pattern Notes:
-
Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of sts. Do not join; work in rows.
-
Afghan is worked in intarsia method. Do not carry/strand yarn across back of work; instead, use separate balls of yarn for each area of color.
-
To avoid holes when changing colors, always bring new color up over previous color.
-
Take extra care when working cables to ensure correct strand is in position when changing colors.
