boyfriend
I love the comfort of men’s sweaters, and I confess that I have absconded with several of my husband’s over the years. Finally I decided it was time to design my own take on a menswear-styled cardigan. Boyfriend is the result.
Roomy without being oversized, Boyfriend is a basic, practical sweater that can go anywhere, from a trip to town to a stroll on the beach. And while it’s nice enough to wear out and about, it’s cozy enough to wrap yourself in while reading or knitting at home.
Boyfriend has a traditional fit, with 3-4 inches of positive ease. Knit it without buttons if you like, or make the button band wider for a more casual look. Twin Rib edging and front panels of Lozenge pattern give this sweater tang and texture.
