These mischievous little Devil Gnomes are ready to add some fiery charm to your collection! You’ll find modifications in the patterns to make the Boy Devil, the Girl Devil, and a Pitchfork.

SKILLS NEEDED

• The skill level needed is intermediate (but ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!).
• The techniques you will need to know include chain, single crochet,, slip stitch, single crochet increase and decrease, invisible decrease, working in the back bar of the ch, half double crochet, double crochet, working in the front and back loop only, bobble stitch, the invisible finish, looping yarn, hand stitching, and the adjustable (magic) ring.

MATERIALS NEEDED (more specifics are noted within the pattern)

• yarn in your choice of colors (about 252-302 yds/230-276 m of worsted/aran)
• a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle
• stuffing
• pins
• pipe cleaners
• scissors
• chopstick to help stuff

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

• Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) and worsted yarn, the Devil Gnomes measure approx. 12 inches (30.5 cm) tall, including the hat.
• Using hook size 1.50 mm and size 10 crochet thread, the Miniature Devil Gnomes measure approx. 6 (15 cm) tall, including the hat.
