yes, you will want an afghan hook for 2/3 options (which is a long crochet hook) for the hat band BUT the cute bow can be made on a regular hook so everyone can give it a try.
I also included a band that is worked in the round on a flexible hook (crochet hook with cord attached). I will definitely be doing more of tunisian in the round! It reminds me knitting in the round. LOVE it!
