Sometimes I set myself a challenge, and this is one. I woke up thinking ‘wouldn’t it be good to make a crochet bow in one piece, the loops and the tails all made in one’. This is the result, surprisingly it took only one ‘prototype’ before making a bow I was happy with.
Made entirely in one piece, the only tricky bit being some chain ‘loops’ over the centre.
I love it and it is now a brooch, I can see many more in the making for presents, decorations or simply to adore gift wrappings. Designed in 4 ply but I am sure can be adapted to any weight. It uses only small quantities of yarn, so is a great stash buster.
As made the brooch is 11 cm wide by 9 cm deep (4¼ in by 3½in).
