Bookworm's Friend
by Little Yarns
The Bookworm’s Friend place holder uses a mitred triangle construction, a technique I found explained on Joanne’s blog (http://www.rhythmoftheneedles.net/) when she used the technique on her mitred squares afghan.
I have adapted the pattern to use knit the triangle, then seam at the side to create a bookmark. It is a super fast project (it took me around 30 minutes to make one!) and is great for gifting, to a teacher, in thank you cards, or for someone in your life who loves reading.
I have made mine using DK weight yarn, however you really can use whatever you have on hand - a great way to use up your stash!
If you do end up selling the finished product, please link back to my design store or blog - thanks!
