This is a fingerless mittens design for my Accessory collection and it is features one of the Waterloo Wools. This pattern is currently available through individual pattern and will be later to purchase in the collection.

The design for Bonnie Mitts is driven by my sister Bonnie, you can read about the design through my blogs. The pattern include the tutorial of magic loop method, the complete chart for the motif, the detail thumb shaping information, also include the instruction on how to modified to fit a smaller size hand.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Arm Circumference: 7 inches without stretch
Length: Varies depending on each individual preference

MATERIALS
Yarn: Rideau by Waterloo Wools (70% Superwash Merino Wool, 30% Seacell; 375 yd/115 g)
Turquoise; 1 skein
NOTE: Substitute Rideau with any sock yarn that maintains the same gauge.

RECOMMENDED NEEDLE SIZES
Size 1 (2.25 mm): 29 circular (cir) or longer for magic loop method. Adjust needle sizes to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTE: If you prefer using dpn, please substitute the same size as the circular needle

GAUGE
31 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches in St st with smaller size needle
32 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches in Twisted Rib with larger size needle

Note: On Round 17-22, the first repeat of the pattern will be cut off; therefore, in the odd round, you will work the C2R and C2L and then work the eyelet related stitches in the even round.
Round 17: p2, C2L, p1, C2R, p1, YO, p3tog, (YO, p1, C2L, p1, C2R, p1, YO, p3tog), rep till end of round
Round 18: YO, p2, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p4, (p3, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p4); rep till end of round
Round 19: p3, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p2tog, YO, p2, (p1, YO, p2tog tbl, b1 tbl, p1, b1 tbl, p2tog YO, p2) ; rep till end of round
Round 20: p1, YO, p2tog tbl, b1 tbl, p1, p1 tbl, p4, (p3, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p4); rep till end of round
Round 21: rep round 17
Round 22: rep round 18
