Bold-striped rug
by hachette
Pattern calls for 2 x 100g of Wendy Mode Chunky in each of 3 colours: Shale (shade 219); B - Alazea Pink (shade 208) and C - Scarlet (shade 210).
I used Vera Moda Elenna 12 ply (50% Arcylic, 50% Cotton) and used 3 x 85g skeins in each colours. For side borders I worked 2 rows of htr (not 5 rows as stated in pattern) as I preferred the look. Next time I would work 36 rows of colour B (rather than 32 as stated in pattern) to balance with the 3 x 12 rows of colour C. Elenna skeins contained several knots and joins but this was okay for this project as just made sure the knots/joints were at back of rug and/or cut and re-joined in yarn.
