obby is a cute, kawaii style Easter treat! Although I’m one to enjoy a Hot Cross Bun for as much of the year as possible.
In my family we’ve always enjoyed the “fruit free” variety but feel free to add some currants or other additions to your finished Bobby!

Bobby is an easy amigurumi (crochet) pattern written in US (American) terms. The pattern includes detailed instructions in an easy to follow layout but a knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi is essential.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished items. My Bobby is approx. 8cm wide x 6cm tall

You will need:

• 3.00mm hook/D-3 (US)
• 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted > less than 50g in each colour
• BLACK 4ply yarn or embroidery thread
• A pair of 9mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is worked in the round unless otherwise stated.
• When changing colour, pull through the new colour on the stitch before you need it. This will ensure that you have the correct colour yarn on the hook for the upcoming stitch.
• I’ve used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/6 in the following: o TAN = col. 09 Nougat
  o BEIGE = col. 05 Beige o PINK = col. 51 Baby Pink o WHITE = col. 01 White
