Alternatively, use a single strand of thicker yarn (weight 6 / super bulky / 14 ply), such as Drops Snow, Drops Andes, or Hobbii Happy Place Apricit.
Yarn and supplies:
• Yarn used: Drops Air – 3 full skeins (150 g / 450 m total; approx. 402 m used). If using a single strand of thicker yarn, you’ll need about 201 m (220 yds).
• Hook: 6 mm (J-10), or size needed to obtain gauge. For a single strand, use a 5 mm (H-8) hook.
• Purse frame: approx. 19 × 9 cm (opens about 18 cm)
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends and attaching the purse frame.
