Blue Rhapsody
Rhapsody in Blue is perhaps George Gershwin’s most famous work, and one that seems to encapsulate the feel of the 1920s jazz age. The design at the time was dominated by bold, graphic Art Deco patterning such as the lines that decorate this hat. By combining stranded knitting with cabling, the dramatic sweeping lines of this pattern pop in a way that’s not possible with standard stranded knitting.
This pattern requires the use of charts.
