A Little About This Pattern:
The Blossom Boho Bag is the perfect accessory for all seasons and can be paired to your wardrobe simply by choosing colors to match. This bag will take your crochet skills to the next level using a variety and combination of stitches that may be new to some, but not too hard to learn. This pattern works well for advanced beginners and experienced crocheters alike who simply want to relax and enjoy the process.

We begin by working the base, then add the body, top band and handle tabs. The closure strap is optional and can be modified to use hardware or a button if you desire that, and finally we work the single handle strap which is made in two layers for added comfort. The clear written directions, photos and access to a short video tutorial makes this pattern one that is accessible to crocheters of a variety of skill levels. With a bit of preparation and uninterrupted crochet time, it can easily be completed in a weekend.

Feel free to use any yarn desired or hook size that feels most comfortable to use with your yarn selection. To achieve the visual effect of my sample bag, you will want to use one cake of Caron Blossom Cakes and 2 skeins (360 yards total) of K & C Knit and Crochet Essential Cotton in a solid colorway. Or, if you do not have access to these yarns, consider working with approximately 400 yards (or a bit more) of any self-striping cotton blend, along with approximately 300 yards of 100% cotton in a complementary solid colorway. Total yardage will vary depending on the yarn selected, hook used and personal tension.
