YARN: sport-weight linen (~300-320m/330-350 yds per 100g/3.5oz) in 2 colors (see yardage below).
The sample was knit out of Quince & Co. Sparrow (100% linen, 154m/168yds per 50g/1.8 oz ball) It is important to use yarns with high linen content for the drape (cotton, silk and bamboo should also work, but no more than 20% wool content!). Don’t worry if your fabric skews and looks uneven, linen will even our after blocking. Suggested substitutes:
• Karen Oberg ‘Kalinka’ (320m/350yds per 100g/3.5oz, 100% linen)
• Katia ‘Lino 100%’ (150m/164yds per 50g/1.8oz; 100% linen)
• BC Garn ‘Lino’(150m/164yds per 50g/1.8oz; 100% linen)
NEEDLES:
• Main: 3.25mm/US3 (or size to get gauge!) circulars, 2 pairs: on a 40 & 80cm/16 & 32” cables;
• I-cord/hem: 3mm/US2.5 (or 1 size smaller than the main) circulars on a ~60cm/24” cable.
NOTIONS: waste yarn, crochet hook, stitch markers, row counter (optional), tapestry needle, scissors.

GAUGE (on main needles, measured per 10x10 cm/4x4” square after wet blocking)

• 22 sts by 26 rows in stockinette.

• 6 children sizes: 1-2 (3-4, 5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12) years;
• 10 adult sizes: XS, S, M, L, XLXL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL) or 82, 86, 92, 96, 10212, 117, 123, 127) cm/33, 35, 37, 39, 415, 47, 49, 51)” bust for an average height of 168 cm/5’6”.

Tee with scoop neck and an A-line silhouette and are worked top-down in the round in 1 piece, predominantly in stockinette. You can choose your ease within ~2-3cm/1” negative to 5cm/2” positive around the bust.
Children sizes up to 6-7 include a button at the back neck to make it easier to put on. The garment is decorated with 2 panels of ‘Vines’ (bottom of the yoke and hem) made with short-row shaping in garter (for both panels you can choose which color to use as background, and which one – for the print).
