Blooming Blossoms Dishcloth
This crochet dishcloth is ridiculously fun to make. The 3D flowers are worked as you go with nothing to make separately and attach later. The blossoms are so sweet and will also give you a little extra scrubbing power! Only basic crochet stitches are used; you just need to rotate your work a few times and crochet into the posts of stitches from previous rows.
Yarn
Pattern is written for either worsted or fingering weight cotton. For the worsted version you’ll need about 150 yds; for the fingering about 225 yds.
We used Coastal Cotton worsted and Fine for our samples.
Hooks & Notions
US size G (4mm) for worsted version US size D (3.25mm) for fingering
Tapestry needle
Gauge
Worsted: 20 sc and 20 rows = 4” Fingering: 23 sc and 22 rows = 4” Gauge is not particularly important for this project.
Finished size
Approximately 9” x 9” both versions.
