Everyone loves a good cardigan - you can wear them with jeans or dress them up. When I used this cable motif on a pair of children’s mittens, I knew it was destined for a cardigan. The cable not only decorates the fronts and back of the sweater, but snakes up the sleeves and across the saddle shoulders

• 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) skeins Three Irish Girls Glenhaven Cashmerino Worsted (shown in the colorway Nightcap)
• Size US 7 (4.5mm) straight knitting needles
• Size US 7 (4.5mm) 24” or longer circular knitting needles
• Cable needle
• Tapestry needle
• 5 (5, 5, 7, 7,7) 7/8” buttons
Gauge
20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch; 24 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Cable pattern.
