Blackpaca Pinstripes
by Ann Weaver
I designed this slouchy hat to showcase Amano Eco Puna Black: yarn made from black alpacas that supports the pure black alpaca population in the Andes. To give what I’ve termed “blackpaca” the maximum impact, I’ve worked this hat in helical stripes with Eco Puna in colorway 9000.
Hat uses approximately 200 yards of DK yarn, 100 yards of each color. If using Amano Eco Puna and Eco Puna Black, you will need one skein of Eco Puna and two skeins of Eco Puna Black.
If you would like a larger hat, I recommend going up a needle size.
