In the photos, the skirts are shown on a 170 cm (5 ft 7 in) model to illustrate the hem length.

Notions
8 stitch markers (one of them a distinct marker for the beginning of the round), measuring tape, scissors, tapestry needle, 3 cm (1¼ in) wide elastic band for the waistband, safety pin, and a small piece of sewing thread for the elastic casing.

Construction
The skirt is worked from the top down, starting at the waist and knitting toward the hem. It is A-line shaped, increasing gradually and evenly across all sizes for a smooth flare.
