The Birch Bonnet is a classic pixie style bonnet with a beautiful texture that is reminiscent of tree bark, I just love it! The simple stitch pattern is beginner friendly and creates a warm and cosy fabric that will keep little ears nice and toasty on their outdoor adventures.

This pattern is written in 6 sizes: Newborn, 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-3 years, 3-5 years and 5-7 years.

For this bonnet you will need:
5mm hook for ribbed band
5.5mm hook for main body
4.5mm for edging and ties
Aran/worsted #4 weight yarn
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitch Markers
