I first made this pillow pet a few months ago, because I had some leftover Bernat Blanket yarn. I had this idea of making my daughter a pillow pet, rather flat and plain on one side, but with a face on the other. And for some reason, the first thing to pop in my head was an owl.

I don’t ordinarily like owls that much, but I absolutely fell in love with this one, and so did my daughter! She lays her head on her owl pillow and watches her movies on the couch, and she’s quiet… some of the time!
