this pattern is written as a “choose your own ending” to allow several options for all sizes.

Don’t let it fool you…the tail is not done with icord or by working tiny little circles. I have been playing with a new way to get this look that so many knit hats have. I love it! You also can create any length tail, or leave it off completely for a rounded top beanie.
