Baby socks a grandma called Berit told me about. She really liked them because they actually fit without elastic and were knitted to the shape of the foot. With her description, I set about making some that would work the same way.

Construction
Knit from the top down. Decreases and increases are made at the ankles, and shaping follows the contour of the foot.
