The Beks Shawl is a large crescent shawl in the style of my other “Family Member” shawls. She was designed using yarn from the Urban Purl, a gorgeous Merino Singles and a Silk Mohair. The original sample is very pink, it made me think of my lovely friend Beks, from the Beks Creates podcast. She is one of my “Knitsters” and so Beks gets to join the family.

The main body of the shawl is a combination of garter, a cluster star stitch and a feather and fan pattern. There is an icord along each edge, which is knit as you go. The combination of the singles and the mohair make for a light weight but beautiful project.
