Bear Hooded Blanket
A free version is also available.
This is a BEAR-Y special crochet pattern! This hooded blanket is soft, cozy, and cute to boot! The pattern is extremely easy and is a fairly fast blanket to make thanks to the fluffy, chunky yarn used. To top it off – literally – there are little bear cub ears on the hood of the blanket! What a cute idea for kids of all ages!
This pattern is written in standard (American) English crochet terminology. You will need 4 skeins of Bernat Blanket or a yarn of equivalent weight; 1 skein of Bernat Blanket in an accent color; 1 skein of Red Heart Pomp-a-Doodle yarn; Size Q / 15 mm crochet hook; Size K/10.5 6.5 mm crochet hook; yarn needle and scissors. A full list of the supplies and materials needed can be found in the pattern. Exact gauge is not essential to this project. The size is one size fits most; blanket measures about 56” wide by 42” long; hood measures about 34 inches lengthwise from side to side.
