Beaded Beauty - A Mermaid Tail
The “fins” on this tail are different from all the others. They overlap as if the little mermaid is crossing her feet while relaxing on the beach.
Approximately 1/2 skein of Red Heart Super Saver 7 oz
Size J and G crochet hooks
4mm pearl beads
#10 crochet thread in a complimentary color
I used approximately 250 beads for the smallest size. Allow for enough by threading extra onto your #10 crochet thread. (I actually put all 1500 beads from the package onto my thread and have enough left over for several more mermaid tails). I also used a beading needle to help make the beads go on quicker.
This pattern has been tested by 3 others and corrections/suggested wording was taken into consideration and made.
However, if you feel there could be more improvements to this original pattern, ie: sizing, please let me know, as I have no little ones to use as my models and went by a size chart.
