Batrick is a loveable little bat friend that is the perfect project to crochet this spooky season. This cute amigurumi project is a perfect handmade decoration for Halloween, or you can crochet one to celebrate these remarkable flying mammals year round! Detailed wings and fluffy accents complete Batrick’s batty look, and a simple wire framework within the wings can be added to ensure that they will hold their outstretched shape.

This pattern is of intermediate difficulty and is 15 pages long, including over 25 detailed progress photos. This project requires stuffing, worsted weight yarn in two colors (a main color and a secondary color for ear and chest fluff), a 4.25mm g crochet hook, and two 8mm safety eyes. A wire pet brush, and weights for the bottom of the body are recommended. Prior knowledge of crochet techniques is required to complete this project, including post stitches. The bat measures approximately 7” tall with a 12” wingspan when completed as written and gauge is met.
