This is one of the basic shawl shapes I teach in my new Craftsy Class: Knit Shawls 14 Ways: Exploring Shape and Design

This shape can be made with any weight yarn and at any gauge… all you have to do is swatch to find a fabric that you like! I used Cloudborn Fibers Merino Alpaca Sport Color Change for mine… which knit up beautifully, I can’t wait to see this shape in all kinds of yarn!

Basic Boomerang is a great first knitting project, if you know how to knit and purl and are ready to play with increases this project is for you!
