This whimsically dapper cardigan is equally suited for the shores or the sandbox, fending off the chill for milder weather in a lighter fabric that gives little arms lots of freedom. Cardigan is worked from the top down. This unisex pattern features a fitted design with ribbed detailing, stripes, and optional pockets. The cardigan has a collared neckline and can be customized with different sleeve lengths. The seamless construction and top-down approach make it a fun and engaging project for knitters of multiple skill levels. It features a doubled collar and inset pockets that give just a taste of intarsia (sew them on as patches if you prefer).

Pattern is written for adventurous beginner to intermediate knitters. Shown in size 4. The sweater is sized with extra length in sleeves and hem for added longevity.
