Baklava Scarf
Pattern Advantages:
- Charted (p.4) and written (p.5)
- Colors are never carried more than one stitch.
- Symmetrical left-right so that you can always read the pattern in the same direction no matter which side you are on.
- Symmetrical up-down so that you can easily read your knitting rather than the chart.
BAKLAVA SCARF:
The Scarf is a simple, SIMPLY GORGEOUS, double sided / double knit adventure. It is a great introductory project for the technique as the patterning is not overly complex. The Monokrom color gradient and the Uneek stripes work in stunning combination to create a gorgeous fabric and color adventure. These two colorways we nicknamed Pistachio - Rose. This would work well in Colorways with no overlapping colors; best if at least one color is a solid, with enough contrast from the second to see the pattern.
YARN:
The Baklava Scarf is designed to be knit in fingering weight yarn. Fingering weight gives you a nice fabric that is not too dense and wraps and lays around your neck perfectly. It would work up well in almost any fingering or light fingering weight yarn.
