Pattern creates an oversized baby blanket, creating something that will still be a good blanket for the child as he or she gets older.

I used about 4 and 3/4 skeins of yarn in this project. It is a VERY quick crochet project after the first row of shells is completed.

7-16-14 So far, I’ve made this blanket in four different colorways of Pluscious, and each one has turned out fantastic. The blue and white colorway looks like puffy white clouds in a blue summer sky.
