Baby Bruno Rattle
One of my best friends is expecting a little boy in August (he’ll be a Leo!), so I made this little lion rattle for him to play with. Perhaps you have a little one who’d like a Baby Bruno too?
This pattern uses tables for all parts, with added diagrams and pictures to help along the way. There are also step by step photos detailing how to begin crochet, assemble the parts and finish the embroidery. You will mostly need basic stitches - this is a very simple crochet that takes about 2-3 hours to do.
You’ll need a small plastic container (like an empty Kinder Egg shell or similar) and some beads to place inside the rattle. You will also need a bit of wire for reinforcing the handle.
The finished rattle is approximately 19 cm (7 and a half inches) tall, when made with a 2.5mm hook and DK weight baby cotton.
