Note: When knitting Azucena, you’ll be simultaneously keeping track of two different repeats: the 6 row shaping repeat which dictates the increase structure of the shawl, and the 8 row stitch pattern repeat. Consider using two row counters to keep track of where you are in each repeat as they do not correspond to each other at any point in the pattern. For example: when working Row 1 of the shaping repeat, you will never be working Row 1 of the stitch pattern repeat.
