Hi there,
Want to make your very own trio of iconic Aussie Birds? Of course you do! Nothing could be more Australian then the Cheeky Cockatoo, Gorgeous Galah & Kooky Kookaburra!
This 6 page pattern includes detailed instructions on how to make all three birds, along with detailed step by step high resolution pictures.

This pattern in written in English and uses in US crochet terminology
This patterns skill level is EASY and requires basic crochet knowledge, with a familiarity with the following stitches
o slst slip stitch
o ch chain
o sc single crochet
o dc double crochet
o hdc half double crochet
o tr treble crochet
o inc increase by working 2sc into the same stitch
o dec decrease by working 2sc together
o picot2 ch2, ss into 2nd ch from hook
o magic ring
This pattern requires the following materials (suggested yarns are a recommendation only)
o Aran/Worsted cotton yarn in white, yellow, pale pink, pink, grey, cream, brown and blue (50g per ball approx)
o 3.5mm crochet hook (UK 9, US E/4)
o Soft toy stuffing
o Tapestry Needle
o 9mm black safety eyes
o Scissors
o Stitch markers
o Small Pom pom maker (I used a 1-3/8in/35mm clover maker)
Using the recommended yarn, the finished size is approx 14cm/5.5inches tall.
