Aureolin
Aureolin is a broken rib and windowpane lace, checkerboard scarf in my own original stitch pattern. The original scarf was technically worked in a lace weight yarn, but that particular yarn base is really more of a light fingering. Either will work very nicely for a flowing scarf.
This pattern calls for optional, but highly reccomended buttons. I also strongly reccomend button hoarding and starting an old lady button tin.
This pattern was originally available as part of the Rainbow Barf Club from Fresh From the Cauldron. Anyone who eas in the club may PM me for a pattern code to add the pattern to their Ravelry library for free.
Aureolin: the color of the first rays of sunrise as seen through squinting, brassy eyelashes.
