Fall/Winter 2020 Alpaca Heather Collection
Four sweaters (and a vest option!) show off the qualities of Alpaca Heather: softness; warmth without bulk; round, 3-ply twist to flatter textured stitches as well as stockinette; beautifully heathered undyed colors; and a coordinated palette of saturated dyed colors that retain the subtlety of the underlying heathered tones.
With craggy cables and a trim fit, Aubrey harkens back to the sweaters of the past but is equally well suited to a tweed skirt or a pair of jeans. Alpaca Heather’s rich, nuanced colors heighten the drama of the cables and the faint halo of the alpaca fiber gives a hint of luxury. Despite the number of different cables, they are all easy to memorize and to work so the knitting goes surprisingly fast for something that looks so textured.
