Atwater Cowl
Atwater Cowl is a simple colorwork cowl, knit in the round, using two colors. It is named for the beach in Milwaukee County where my husband proposed, and I happily accepted.
Luxuriously soft, and a joy to knit when worked up in the lovely Plucky, resulting in a lofty piece with beautiful drape.
Equally as lovely, but possibly designed for more blustery days when worked in the single ply merino from Malabrigo.
This pattern is available as an individual download and also as part of the Brew City Knits e-book, which includes the matching Atwater Mittens and Atwater Hat.
A great beginner colorwork pattern, which includes both written and charted instructions for the stitch pattern.
Yardage:
Color A: 175-200 yards 160-183 m
Color B: 95-110 yards 87-101 m
