Astoria Tunic
The focal point of this tunic is the wide, face-framing collar,
which combines with the A-line shaping and inverted box pleat to create a vintage feel. This project knits up quickly using Aran weight yarn worked at a loose gauge.
SKILL LEVEL
Intermediate: Skills include short rows, sturdy
knitted cast-on method for casting on stitches,
decreases, and increases. See Techniques
section beginning on page 146 for photo
tutorials on working short rows and the sturdy
knitted cast-on.
Shown in size S with 1 1/2”/4 cm ease. Intended to fit with 0”/0
cm to +4”/10 cm ease at bust.
