Aspen
by Kim Driggs
One of the first plants you can identify in Colorado is the aspen - clusters of long slender trunks topped with shimmering round leaves. Many are surprised to learn that each grove of aspens is actually a group of clones - genetically identical copies of a single tree. These socks play homage to those slender trunks and branches in the ribs and cables pattern, and are topped with fancy “leaf” ribbing.
